The Schnalstal Valley, home of Ötzi, the Iceman
For centuries, the Schnalstal Valley has been a popular destination, passing through the Niederjoch (the site where Ötzi the Iceman was discovered) into the Ötztal Valley and from there over the Fernpass to Augsburg. Due to its remoteness, the Schnalstal Valley has retained much of its rustic charm and offers visitors a variety of relaxing and restful spots. Of course, time hasn't passed this valley by, and there are also fun and action-packed activities to suit a wide variety of tastes.
